Education at CEMEF and how to apply

CEMEF offers a number of educational opportunities in the field of material forming: materials physics, thermomechanics and numerical simulation.



PhDs


Two doctoral education programmes exist :


Applications are open to French and foreign students who hold a Masters Degree or the equivalent of 5 years of university studies.

PhD students receive a salary during the three years of their studies.

Post-Master Degrees


The French "Mastères Spécialisés" correspond to a postgraduate diploma and is a pragmatic one-year specialised training course aimed at graduate students.

At CEMEF, it is administered by MINES ParisTech, with the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles label.

CEMEF offers two post-master degrees :

Internships


Each year, around thirty students, generally in their third year of engineering school or studying for a Master’s degree, undertake a paid internship at CEMEF lasting 3 to 6 months.

Master's degrees


The Physics and Materials Engineering and Mechanics and Numerical Modelisation (P3M) Master's degree is done in collaboration with the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (UNSA) and the Ecole des Mines de Paris.
