Master's degree Materials Physic Mechanics and Numerical Modeling

Master P3M

The P3M Master's degree is jointly appointed by the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (UNSA) and the Ecole des Mines de Paris.



During the first year (M1), students receive general education in materials (physics and mechanics) and numerical modelling.

The second year comprises :

  • a research module (M2R): introduction to doctoral studies.
    • 3 options are available :
        > physics and materials engineering
        > numerical simulation of materials forming
        > interface systems

  • a professional module (M2P) in partnership with the CNAM (French institute of applied sciences).
